Collection consists of two legal documents from Court of Common Pleas, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, between Henry F. Barrell of Boston, John C. Barrell and Joseph Gibbon, both late of the city of Paris, and Nehemiah W. Skillings of Dorchester, MA, pertaining to damages incurred for shipment of sundry items to Cape Haytien, on the the island of St. Domingo, also known as Cape Henry, Hayti (Haiti). Documents outline the case, identify the judgement against Skillings, and include an accounting of the items shipped.
